Category 5 Box Lacrosse tryouts are designed to identify and develop young players for the upcoming season. Beyond evaluation, these sessions provide fundamental instruction on how box lacrosse is played, covering the rules, pace, and positioning that set it apart from the field game. Coaches will assess players on stick skills, footwork, physicality, and hockey-sense style decision-making in the tighter, faster-paced box environment. Sessions are open to all players looking to learn the sport for the first time as well as those refining their box-specific skills. The goal is to build a strong foundation in box lacrosse fundamentals while identifying talent for team placement. All players will leave with a better understanding of box lacrosse strategy and how it can strengthen their overall game. 

Box Lacrosse is open to all lacrosse players regardless of club affiliation.
